Hold, please….

You know dishwater that has gone cold and is no longer sudsy, but greasy and gray? That’s how my writing feels right about now.

I need a break. I need to fast from my own words.

I will return in a couple of weeks. Or three. Maybe four.

But I will return.

Blessings in the interim — and a quote from Mark Nepo (Seven Thousand Ways to Listen):

“…the journey truly begins when we lose possession of what we thought were answers and are left to accept that we are not in control…. [B]eyond every answer waits a larger question, and beyond every arrival waits an unforeseen beginning. Being lost on the inner plane can be understood as a disorientation that is necessary as we are thrust from what we think we know into the vibrant field of all we do not know.”
